Shamrock Style elucidated…
I found a great, ceramic Irish shamrock ORNAMENT in Orlando. Returning home, I bought an inexpensive gold necklace and a package of jump rings and lobster claw clasps. I attached these to the ornament and now have an unique St, Patrick’s Day pendant! May you have the luck of the Irish all year round!
How I became known as Flossie
Having offered to bring the cake to my mother-in-law’s birthday celebration (she may have been 85 that year, around 1989), I wasn’t the least bit shy when it came to decorating the cake. I pulled out the stops and used all my “Wilton” tricks. Many of the guests were her contemporaries and known to say exactly what they thought. One of the “blue-haired” ladies took a thoughtful look at the cake which was centered on the dining table. She turned to me and raising one eyebrow she asked, “Did you make the cake?” “Yes,” I responded. She then gave her verdict. “You’re right flossie, ain’t ya?”
Well, there it was…my design style wrapped up in one word by a feisty octogenarian!
Princess Fancy

As a new runner, I still get butterflies in my stomach before a race. (Yes, even after 2 years, I still consider myself a new runner.) I recently ran the Disney Princess Half-Marathon and it was my first solo 1/2. My time was horrible. My body was so sore afterwards due to lack of training. My mind was full of doubts.
But I did it. 🙂
